The route of the former Lincoln Avoiding Railway Line in Lincoln, Lincolnshire.
Built by the Great Northern & Great Eastern Joint Railway to carry goods traffic away from the GNR station and level crossings. It ran on an embankment from Washingborough Junction to Pyewipe Junction with bridges over the GNR Honington line, Canwick Road, St Andrews Street, Cross Street, Sincil Bank, High Street, River Witham, Boultham Park Road, a lane south of Coulson Road, the Midland Railway and the Main Drain at Skew Bridge and south of Pyewipe Junction. It was removed in 1985 and most of the resulting land within the built-up area has been developed for housing.
