Inkheart.

"He will think that every wood is full of Faries, that a glassman sleeps on every table---so long as theres some parchment on it---that books are written by hand, and that the most famous illuminators paints with his left hand because his right is made of leather. He will think that strolling players breath fire and perform comic plays in every marketplace, that women always wear long dreses, And that soldiers stand at every gate."

View on black?? :)

Finally starting to get back on track with concepts and ideas for photos. I've spent since 8am this morning (it's now 6pm) curled up with the computer, printer and art book, leaving the room only to evacuate when the smell of burning books became too much, and to take these photos, and to buy glue (which is appalling) from the corner shop.

As I was sat by a footpath taking these, I heard my name mentioned by voices moving closer. I thought it was my family but it turned out it was Lucy and her family, talking about how I download music. When they saw me, they jumped out of their skins... and then they saw what I was doing! After much laughter and a chat, I think they're still okay with Lucy being my friend ;)

I also had my cousin and great cousin pass by, they thought it was hilarious too. Anyways.

Things are good, just because I haven't updated you in a hundred years on life. Busy with school and Fiddler on the roof rehearsals (I did get the crazy lady - did I mention that?) and I've had two weekends running where I've just done nothing but relax... well, I've filled the time by learning piano pieces and baking cakes and painting and taking photos and things like that... but to me, that's relaxing! Hah. Next weekend it'll be the autumn holidays - a well needed break, I think.

I've sent off my university applications - Cambridge, Nottingham, Edinburgh, St Andrews and Royal Holloway. Fingers crossed. It's all very scary. I need to write creative writing pieces for Nottingham and Royal Holloway, but I'm not certain exactly what they want just yet, so I'll see.

I went to see Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy last thursday, I thought it was brilliant - very cinematic and difficult to follow but really fascinating.

How are you? :)

Have a nice Sunday x
