I like the visualization of the difference of individual trees and the massive forest which is appearing as a structured surface.
New version with altered tone curve and new crop. I freed the crop from the fixed aspect ratio, thus allowing to position the trees more appropriately according to the rule of thirds / golden section.
The bushes on the right add to the balance (from my point of view) and are corresponding with the small trees in front with the big trees being the central element of this new line. The forest in the background is a little more structured. This is counterbalanced by cropping.
