As humans we've two sides - the emotional and the rational. To get both working together we need to accept our emotions, experience them and understand why they came up. A child won't listen to you until it didn't have room to live its emotions and for that we need to accept them. Only then we can explain emotions, why they came up and how to deal with them. Leave room for the children to decide how they'd like to deal with their emotions, sometimes they've better ideas than adults 😊
