Tody_Motmot_WEB_2U6A5586

Thanks to the gardener - groundskeeper in the Anton Mountains not only did he find us the Spectacled Owl, but he also found us the rarely seen Tody Motmot.

The Tody Motmot is a small infrequently seen bird that is usually quite inactive. In our case we had to crawl across the forest floor to approach him; then I used a tree as my camera brace and tried the shot several ways to try and lower the high ISO.
