Whitman stitch
So one day Bascom Hogue asked me if I wanted to swap with him. After the smelling salts were administered and I was back up off of the ground, I told him YES YES OH MY GOD YES.
I had a hard time figuring out what to make him at first because I didn't want to offend him, as he's a Mennonite and I wasn't sure if he'd be comfortable with some of the things I normally make. Via email I got to know him better and found out I had nothing to worry about.
He also mentioned William Carlos Williams at one point, which got me thinking about poetry and then this happened. Walt Whitman just seemed more stitchable than Mr. Williams.
If this looks a little familiar, it is... And yes, I know it's not a muscle, it's an organ. :)
