This kind of reminds me of an artificial ocean. The waves of deep blue with a sandy beach in the distance. Ha, I guess it also reminds me of a good night sleep!

 

 

I think waves can be metaphorically compared to emotions. The consistent change of direction is almost identical to how people's moods change through-out the day :)
