Rainbow over Morecambe Bay, Lancashire
We called into Morecambe recently to do some shopping, and on the way home stopped alongside the seafront to let our little Yorkie stretch her legs. The weather where we were was fine, with strong sunshine, but over in the Bay it was obviously raining, with a large bank of cloud rolling in. For several minutes we enjoyed watching a rainbow form, and then slowly fade before growing in intensity as the sun appeared behind us once more.
On the left we can see a small yacht that is gradually disappearing into the soft sands. Perhaps a reminder of the dangers that the sands can pose.
