Fulham FC are Champions
We lived in Fulham in London when I was a lad and my dad first used to take me to watch Fulham's reserve team play at Craven Cottage when I was about four or five. Then in 1955 I watched my first game in Division Two, when Fulham lost at home 4-3 to Newcastle United. I've been following Fulham ever since, whether times have been good or bad. As those who follow English football will know, Fulham have just been promoted to the Premiership, where they'll play the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City next season. They won their final home game (poor Luton!) 7-0, and this - a TV screen grab from Sky Sports - shows the after-match celebrations. I still have a slight hangover!
