Polperro harbour at low tide (Explored)

When the tide goes out at Polperro on the south coast of Cornwall the harbour is virtually emptied of water and the fishing boats are left sitting on the mud.

Polperro is set between two steep hillsides with many narrow streets and alleys with beautiful old cottages. It is quite simply "chocolate box" pretty. I like it very much, especially when I can get there before the main crowds of visitors arrive.

This will be my last posting until Easter as we have rented a little cottage in Norfolk for the week. It will give us a change of scenery while our little Yorkie is going to her own holiday home. Not kennels, I hasten to add. There should be at least two or three decent days' weather, so I hope to return with some reasonable photos.

Thank you all very much for your visits to my photostream and for your kind comments, which are much appreciated. I shall try and catch up with you all when I get back.
