Low tide at Lerryn, Cornwall

This is one of my favourite places in Cornwall. Lerryn is a delightful little village that sits each side of the River Lerryn, which feeds into the River Fowey a few miles south of Lostwithiel. Much of the surrounding countryside is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The area is heavily wooded and there are very pleasant walks to be had along the river banks. When the tide goes out the river simply becomes a small stream, leaving most of the small boats stranded on the mud.
