Ferry across the Looe River, Cornwall

Another shot from last year's unused archives. The seaside resort and fishing town of Looe in south-east Cornwall sits astride the Looe River. At high tide a ferry service will take passengers across the river from East Looe to West Looe (or vice versa), saving a lengthy walk along the river to the town's only bridge, for the princely sum of just 50p. A bargain, if ever there was one.
