Holy Trinity Church, Embleton, Northumberland - chancel

The church at Embleton dates from the late 11th or early 12th century, though there have been numerous subsequent changes, especially in the 14th century. One thing that I found interesting, and possibly unique, is that the main aisle is at a slight angle to the chancel. I have never seen this before in a church.
