Sutton Harbour, Plymouth

The original name for Plymouth was Sutton, and it was only in the 20th century that we saw the vast expansion of Plymouth to take in and absorb several neighbouring towns to become the vast metropolis that we know today. There are several marinas in the waters around Plymouth, and this is one of them, in the heart of Sutton Harbour in the centre of Plymouth. There is a large fish market on the east side of the harbour - in the distance - and this is where most of the fishing boats are moored when they are not at sea.
