The Maze, Glendurgan Gardens, Cornwall

The famous laurel maze at the National Trust's Glendurgan Gardens, on the side of the Helford Estuary in the far south-west of Cornwall, was planted as long ago as 1833. it is a firm favourite with visiting children. The beautiful gardens are set in a wooded valley leading down to the hamlet of Durgan on the water's edge.
