Chapel Porth, Cornwall
This is one of my favourite places on the north coast of Cornwall. This little cove is reached via St Agnes and is very popular with surfers. There are several large caves in the cliffs along the gorgeous sandy beach, which is only revealed at low tide. On the tops of the cliffs are the remnants of the tin-mining industry, now sadly defunct. But at one time it would have employed tens of thousands of Cornish miners. The land around here is owned by the National Trust, and out of shot to the right is a small car park with a cafe plus the usual other facilities.
