The Hedwigepolder is a reclaimed part of the Drowned Land of Saeftinghe, a wetland nature reserve in Zeeuws Vlaanderen [Zeelandic Flanders] on the border of the Netherlands and Belgium. According to agreements between the two countries this polder landscape will soon be flooded to make the port of Antwerp more accessible. There is of course much resistance amongst the inhabitants.
