The Piano Lady: this grave in an obscure part of the cemetery is so well known that the staff can direct you straight to it AND it appears in the cemetery's £5 guidebook available from the main gate.
Gladys Spencer L.L.C.M. was a local music and dance teacher who worked at the Classical Academy of Music and Dancing in Rixon Road, Manor Park. She died on Easter Monday April 6, 1931, aged just 34. She was well known for charity work.
Erected to: "My darling Gladeyes (sic)" the dedication says: "The gardener hath plucked a still rarer flower".
