Deserted Beach -- Explored December 23, 2024

I have never been anywhere that seems more like a tropical paradise than Heron Island. There is nothing on the island but a small resort and a research station. I would go for morning walks along the beach and only encounter a handful of people. No cars, no fast-food restaurants, no tacky souvenir shops. Just peace and beauty.
