25 years ago today, the legendary Nintendo 64 was released in Japan. This is my favorite video game console of all time, and was a vital piece of pop culture for my pre-teen years as a '90s Xennial. I remember first reading about this elusive console through early dial-up internet in 1996, and being completely shocked and mesmerized by the design of the controllers especially. Then when it was initially released in the States, my uncle got a first generation model and I had the luxury of playing Super Mario 64 before any of my peers at the time! Get N, or get out!
This photo is a quick shot I took of my LEGO Nintendo 64 Transformers in their alt modes with my Link puppet. Nothing too fancy.
