Barcelona Backalley

Taken with a simple compact camera thinking about light. The building in the background has been lit directly by the afternoon sun so is bright and has predominantly warm colours. The buildings in the midground are lit less directly from cooler light sources (the sky and reflected light off neutral coloured buildings). Those in the foreground are barely lit at all in comparison, receiving indirect light and are consequently in shadow.
