Barcelona has an efficient commuter train line called the Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC). The Ferrocarrils station is connected to the subway station at Plaça Catalunya. There are two trains that you can take to get to the UAB: the S2 – destination Sabadell or the S55 – destination UAB. The train ride takes approximately 30 minutes.
