Castelmezzano is a small village of Basilicata, with a group of houses built on the Lucan Dolomites. A small nativity scene made up of narrow streets and alleys uphill (and downhill), famous in Italy and abroad for the Angel's Flight, the longest one in Europe. Yet, despite the traffic of people eager to jump into the void, the village has maintained its dimension of the past with people in the main square at the evening to talk and have gossip. Excluding food shops, bed and breakfasts and few restaurants, there're no other business shop so to buy you have move to Potenza, or wait for the arrival of this seller of women's clothing that fix the dresses on the car just before entering in the village and then passes through the streets open to traffic (a ring) calling women and opening negotiations with them.

Castelmezzano è un piccolo borgo della Basilicata, composto da un gruppo di case costruite a ridosso delle Dolomiti lucane. Un piccolo presepe composto da vicoli e viuzze in salita (e discesa) famoso in Italia e all'estero per il Volo dell'Angelo più lungo d'Europa. Eppure, nonostante il traffico di persone desiderose di lanciarsi nel vuoto, il paese ha mantenuto la propria dimensione d'altri tempi con la gente che s'incontra la sera nella piazza principale per commentare e spettegolare. Escludendo i negozi di generi alimentari, bed&breakfast e qualche ristorante, non esistono altre attività commerciali così per fare acquisti bisogna spostarsi a Potenza, oppure attendere l'arrivo di questo venditore d'abiti femminili che sistema la propria merce sulla macchina poco prima di entrare in paese e poi ne percorre le vie aperte al traffico (un anello) chiamando le donne e aprendo con loro trattative all'ultimo sangue.
