Casablanca Train Station
Casablanca.........it was an eventful 24 hours, i will never forget.
in the event of looking for a cafe to get some rest and get some food, i was held under a knife point.
the story goes... i had my backpack (my new camera bag) in front of me, like carry it backward. it was a pretty big bag so it basically came up to my chin. i rested my arms on top of the bag my right hand is holding my little baby Ricoh.
A 6'-0" + tall man came up to me and try to take my Ricoh and point a knife at me. Lucky i did not get hurt, my Ricoh is also safe with me. i might be just lucky, or people around me was nice enough to help me out by telling the guy to leave us alone. in any case even now i can't imagine what he could have done to me with his knife.
the next morning we decided to leave Casablanca because we were little uncomfortable and beside there is really nothing there to see. ... Remember even the famous movie "Casablanca" did not even film here.
We headed to the train station early in the morning, an elderly woman who pretended to help us, while we don't need any help, she tried to take our ticket away by telling us we were in the wrong class.
Was it because it was 2 Asian females traveling, or am i being careless. Or do i have to say i need a "boy" after all.
btw, my first meal in Morocco was in the Hyatt Hotel, the safest place and the closest place we found.
