Animals don't lie. Animals don't criticize. If animals have moody days, they handle them better than humans do. Betty White

Let's face it. 2020 and 2021 sucked. I know that expression "no regrets" but for the life of me I can't understand it. Dammit I have regrets. I believe I'm allowed to have them. We are allowed to have them, because it means we are facing our own mistakes. We are learning from them. We grow.

Let's face one more thing: Betty White did give us one hell of an exit. I admired her and her skills and her love for animals knew no boundaries. So this morning as I was looking for quotes. I stumbles upon a couple:

Animals don't lie. Animals don't criticize. If animals have moody days, they handle them better than humans do.

That is so true. I look at Ozzy dealing with what is happening to him. His sight being blurry, being on car rides to the vet and back. Yet plays and sleeps in my lap and being the vivid devil that he is.

His way of accepting his reality and difficulties is admirable. I look at some humans I come across (including myself) and I wish they had a bit of this nobility. I wish them that for this 2022.

The second quote was this: "You can always tell about somebody by the way they put their hands on an animal". Betty White

Going to the vet, you see a lot of things. The comfort a human tries to give to their dog that is so scared. The compassion of the vets towards humans having to say their goodbyes to their 4 legged loved one.

In here we saw Taz sniffing Ozzy gently to see if he's ok and not being grumpy towards him as usually.

This connection of people, animals and love. Real love. Not showing off "love", not love for the sake of impressing someone, not competitive, not an act. Just simple, real, pure, beautiful.

I wish that to everyone for 2022 as well. To learn what real love is and truly experience it with not tools, no means. With heart and soul only.

You are all full of love. You all were so supportive with my sharing of Ozzy's "adventures" I can't thank you enough. These couple of years were a lot of downs one after the other. But adding this little creature to my life in November 2020 was one of the three best things I did (adopting Taz and Chaka the first 2).

So, I'm allowed my regrets, and there are many. But I earned something that make those regrets tiny and blurry. I earned unconditional love. I just hope he knows there's nothing in this world I wouldn't do to keep him pain free and happy.

I'll go back to cuddle him for now.

Happy New Year everyone♥

I am taking this image decorating around with Oh Deer! Store things. As another thing I did love about this year is how I got creative. You see there:

The Wise and Robbie the Robin from my first ever set.

CooCoo the decor coo (she is a gift at the shop and on the MP).

Lil Book that is dedicated to Val with the key and pencils

Table Lamp from Long Gone which I waited to make from the moment I started meshing.

Soft Wood and Modern Xmas trees that are two of my latest sets in a burst of holiday inspiration.

I am placing the glass dome on a gift I made today and have sent to friends and group members of Missing and Longing Melody, Lana and Flower of Scotland Sims.

A little biography of items that bring me so much joy and I hope so very much bring joy to others as well.

iBi 8f8 Forgotten Secrets - Time to Break Free. My favourite clock. I think one of the more reappearing objects I use in sl. I adore the time standing still, nostalgy, maple leaves. It has everything I love in one tiny object. Nature taking over.
