Lone Cypress April 2018

Pebble Beach's crown tourist attraction, the "Lone Cypress" tree is among one of the most photographed trees on the planet.

It's out at the end of the bluff, and there are "sister trees" close by. Usually photographers attempt to capture her "alone" on the end of that bluff.

I did so as well when I visited Carmel and Pebble Beach and drove along the 17 mile drive attempting to take as many sunset photos as possible until it got completely dark.

The Lone Cypress Tree turnout was the second one I encountered on the drive.

Here is a shot from the viewing platform. I took the 3 exposures on April 30, 2018. The image was processed 02-08-21.
