Regionalzug Avezzano-Sulmona bei Prezza
Ein ALe 501 rollt als Regionalzug von Avezzano nach Sulmona in das Valle Peligna hinab. Dessen Talgrund wird dominiert vom einzeln stehenden Monte San Cosimo, um den sich Bahnlinie von Sulmona nach L'Aquila herumwindet. Die schneebedeckte Bergkette im Hintergrund ist die Majella und am Hang unterhalb der großen weißen Wolken rechts sind bei ganz genauem Hinsehen die Viadukte der "Transiberiana" von Sulmona nach Carpinone auszumachen.
Heading from Avezzano to Sulmona an ALe 501 rolls down into Valle Peligna. On the ground of the valley the line from Sulmona to L'Aquila meanders around Monte San Cosimo, while the tops of the Majella are still covered with snow. On the slopes below the large white clouds on closer inspection even the viaducts of the "Transiberiana" from Sulmona to Carpinone are detectable.
