Barrels out of Bond

"Out they went under the overhanging branches of hte trees on either bank. Bilbo wondered what the dwarves were feeling inside their barrel-boats. 'I do hope I put the lids on tight enough!' Said Bilbo, as he clung to the side of a barrel as the current swept them away from their prison in the elven fortress. Once, several of the barrels got caught on the side by some branches. Bilbo used this opportunity to climb on the bank and then hop on top of a large barrel. At first it was rather difficult to stay one, but because he was light, he finally managed to position his weight to allow him to stay on top. In this way at last Mr. Bagins came to a place where the trees on either hand grew thinner. He could see the paler sky between them. Then the swift water of the Forest River swept all the company of casks and tubs away to the north bank, in which it had eaten out a wide bay. And from within this large bay, Bilbo could see a large wooden city floating on the water, dwarfed in the shadow of the Lonely Mountain. At last, they had arrived!"

Greetings all! My 3rd scene for the Knightly Quest category for the CCC. I hope you all like it, and any CC you can give back will be highly appreciated.

I managed to whip up these creations within a good amount of time. I have another one lined up further down the road as well, but there might be a larger break between my posts now. I'll keep ya posted about the progress of my next adventure!

Soli Deo Gloria!

NOTE: I have been averaging a creation a week since the end of August. You guys do the math. I can't wait for this CCC to end. But then I have the MOCAthalon on MOCpages. Ugh, no rest for the weary.
