Winter dinner

Dark-eyed junco (Junco hyemalis, slate colored) sampling the brown-eyed susan (Rudbeckia triloba) seeds as its winter energy source. This shows it is good to leave the garden 'native' until spring. This was the first significant snow in Springfield MO this winter.
