A frame..a thousand words [..Pabna, Bangladesh..]

Bangladesh....

 

I've so many things to say about my country.

Let's say.....it's a land of greenery.

And...a land with abundance of wealth.

And...a country where life is so simple..

Also....my land is gifted with freshness of nature.

The children, the women, the people.

They are simple, joyful, loving.

 

I wished I could write a story of thousand words.... which won't end, of course.

 

So I took my camera.

And I pressed the shutter.

The story of thousand words.....

Is framed in a single shot.

 

 

Tangail, Bangladesh, 2007. A single frame will give you the complete idea of what rural Bangladesh looks like. Left of the frame is the jackfruit tree.. which is the national fruit of Bangladesh. A woman is grazing her cattle... the seedlings of paddy are planted in fields...the children are playing on the swings....

 

I think, I have started to write the story.
