Once upon a time.........366/365
Once upon a time, there was a little girl who wanted to grow up to be a princess.....
or maybe an opera singer,
or a Girl Scout leader,
or a dancer,
or an actress,
or maybe Carol Burnett........
and maybe she was a little bit crazy.......

This is the official end of my 365 journey - and what a journey it has been.....Perhaps we all get different things from this journey........ Many become better photographers, learn more about themselves, make friends.......
I don't really know what I thought I would get from it - I did hope it would make me a better photographer, but somewhere along the line, I got sidetracked from that. At first that bothered me, but I am glad I kept on going, even if it was not turning out like I thought it would.
It was a tough year for me - I had just lost my mom a month before I started the project. Perhaps I was searching for some distraction, I'm not sure. I had no idea of the friendships & support awaiting me. Some of these friendships had already begun, but were made even stronger - maybe it was because I had to show up; I could not retreat, as I was able to do "in real life" - and some friendships were newer. I received such wonderful support and encouragement - both for my 365, and for my sorrow & grief. It has enabled me to remember to laugh - and yet know that it is still OK to cry. My dear Flickr friends - you can not begin to know what you mean to me!!!
The project has forced me to look at myself - sometimes it made me more comfortable with my looks; other times it made me realize how ugly I really was. It was like a roller coaster. But no matter what, I still received that love and encouragement......
I have so much more to say........

and to ChrisMaverick and Stephen Poff for getting all this started - you just don't know what you have done!!!
I may take a tiny break - but I won't be far away......
(and Emily - if you are "watching" - don't worry - the tiara is still coming your way - cause you are still the Queen Big Sister! I just had to wear it one more time!!)
(I'll have to remember to tell y'all the story behind this tiara......another time)
