Leucistic HOUSE SPARROW feeding her fledgling
Leucism can be an abnormal paling of the normal body covering of fur or feathers. It also describes a condition in which patches of white are found on an otherwise normally colored animal. This mother House Sparrow is pale all over, but her plumage is otherwise true to the patterns of her species. Her young has the normal plumage of House Sparrows.
Thank you for taking the time to view my photo, and for the faves and comments you make, thank you.
