the photographer and the pidgeon

in a quiet corner of lisbon, i caught this moment of stillness — a man in dialogue with a lone pigeon, geometry, and light.

only later did i realize: the man was alwyn greer, whose lens once captured the pulse of bands i grew up with — sisters of mercy, joy division, siouxsie and the banshees and so many more.

funny how silence echoes.
