A simple toasted cheese and tomato croissant was made quite posh with a dollop of good tangy tomato chutney and a handful of dressed greens!

 

Good cheese, sweet and ripe tomatoes and a buttery croissant is all I really need for breakfast, and Icoco didn't disappoint. They even took the time to dress the leaves with a little olive oil, salt & pepper.

 

The tomato chutney was so good, I had it by the spoonful! Perhaps it's whole black peppercorns mellowed by the pickling. The chutney seemed to overwhelm the cheese, which is probably why I ate it separately.
