The Vegetarian Curry Laksa at Fo Guang Yuan Art Gallery Tea Shop is not bad considering that it is Buddhist vegetarian, which means no onion and garlic. Unfortunately that means the curry paste is more or less reduced to chilli, cumin and turmeric as the dominant flavours.
The vegetarian fishball was almost crunchy in texture, quite amazing. The vegetarian rendang beef was also quite tasty with the "meat" meltingly tender and spiced with cloves and cinnamon.
