The 北京鸭 Beijing Duck is good, roasted, and then flash fried to crisp up the skin before serving. For AUD45.80, you can get the rest of the duck meat stir-fried with beansprouts, or for an extra AUD5 stirfried with noodles. We opt for the beansprouts and they come out smoky from a hot wok, glistening with duck fat and the beansprouts still crunchy. The 2-dish set is good value.
The other dishes are rather simple though, with the 椒盐豆腐 Salt and Pepper Tofu silky inside, but with a thick, soggy crust. The 糖醋排骨 sweet vinegar ribs were nice, not again, nothing special.
