Very very indulgent plate of chocolate!

We started with the warm chocolate fondant, and the rich chocolate centre came oozing out when we broke the light and fluffy sponge crust.

 

Then we moved on to the chocolate pyramid that was the marquise. The change in texture was a nice surprise. Where the fondant was light and fluffy, this was rich and dense. Just as well we had the smooth and cool chocolate sorbet to go with it to help lighten it a little.
