Summer Lunchbox - Cafe Vue AUD15

 

We got to try a bit of Amye's duck pate, and it was light and divine! Very good for dipping your fries into :P

 

I think the Summer Lunchbox December 2006 was better value.

 

Starter: Duck pate with cranberry jelly and brioche bun

Salad: Waldorf salad

Savoury: Ham and gruyere cheese vol au vent

Sweet: Spiced fruit cake dipped in rum and white chocolate

I think they changed their burger. The brioche bun was soft, and so was the burger patty. Isabel thinks that it used to be a Wagyu beef burger, but I recall it as just a good beefy burger. I think the beef burger at Grill'd is better.

 

 

ok, for the record, here's a photo of the Cafe Vue burger in December 2006. I did say that the brioche bun was too soft back then too :P

and no, it wasn't Wagyu...
