The Camel Ride @ Hunder, Ladakh
Nikon D850
Nikon 70-200mm F/4G AF-S VR
B+W Circular Polarizer
A famous composition of Hunder. It is a very interesting place. Suddenly you will find a sand dune in between the mountains. Another proof that Himalayas was once an ocean and this part must have been the sandy floor of that ocean.
I was not that lucky with the moody cloud that is not very uncommon here. That is why I took more tighter shot to actually keep the complete mountain in the background.
The time window for such shot is very short as the sun does go down fast. At the same time you have to wait for the groups of camels come come in. After few attempts I did manage to get couple of decent shots.
Stay safe, comply with the authority strictly, stay at home, stop the chain of the virus.
Take care and help the society to recover from the crisis.
Ok. If you have already reached till here; may be you will be interested to see Ladakh in a bit more detail!
Click here to see the short film documenting the natural beauty of the region as I have experienced it.
Please have a look at my website www.avisekhphotography.com for all my recent works.
Have a nice weekend.
Hope you will enjoy the picture.
Any suggestions or criticisms are always welcome.
