Ocean side landscape changes very frequently. With ocean coming in, trees start disappearing into the water. Last time I visited Seychelles, I took some lovely images with a coconut tree. This time I wanted to capture the same image and make it better. I reached the location to find that the tree is not there anymore! The ocean came in a bit and grasped the tree. Heartbreaking!
So I started looking for other similar composition and came across this one. This was actually better than the one before as the tree is leaning onto the ocean. This tree may disappear soon as well. The root of the tree was almost half exposed. At the same time tourists come and climb it. I saw some of them. Getting onto the tree to take their pictures. Means, it will soon become a victim of a natural storm or tourist entertainment.
Anyway, at least it was there at the time when I was there. I was lucky to have this patch of cloud passing by to capture this lovely ambient. At the same time I was not so lucky as the cloud formation was much better 30 minutes back, but flown away before the sunset leaving only that small patch.
Ok. If you have already reached till here; may be you will be interested to see Seychelles in a bit more detail!
Click here to see the short film documenting the natural beauty of the region as I have experienced it.
Please have a look at my website www.avisekhphotography.com for all my recent works.
Have a nice weekend.
Hope you will enjoy the picture.
Any suggestions or criticisms are always welcome.
