Well well, Finally I managed to upload my last 6 months of images to my website and here comes one of my personal favorite. As you can imagine; this image is very much staged. The night before we planned this shot and asked our guide to arrange for it. They already took the wood and kept it there. Early in the morning when it was dark enough; we started walking with the camels. The location was a bit far from the lovely place where we made the camp. We went there, arranged the fire, arranged the camels and waited for the right light.
It was magical environment. In fact all the days I have spend in Oman was absolutely stunning. Specially the desert.
When the right light arrived; it was a treat to photograph and experience it. As always; my wife was there to help me with the setup. A big thank you to her for being with me supporting to fulfill my dream.
Huge thanks to our guide Abdullah and his two subordinates Abdullah and Ahmed for all the support and arrangements.
Ok. If you have already reached till here; may be you will be interested to see the sand of Oman in a bit more detail!
Click here to see the short film documenting the natural beauty of the region as I have experienced it.
Please have a look at my website www.avisekhphotography.com for all my recent works.
Have a nice weekend.
Hope you will enjoy the picture.
Any suggestions or criticisms are always welcome.
