The Break In The Cloud @ Leh, India
Canon EOS 5DSR
Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM
B+W Circular Polarizer
It was my dream to visit the Ladakh region of India. A region I visited 30 years back with very fade memory. The landscape there is so surreal and those rocks start burning with the golden light of the sun. On top going to a that altitude is also an attraction in itself!
This particular day was super windy and cloudy. I still went to the location in hope of a break and there were some breaks. The golden light was hitting the mountains after every few minutes through the breaks of the cloud. The scene was ineradicable. I did capture some timelapse and there it is more clear on how the the light ans shade moved through. Overall a good decision to get to that location even with not that favorable weather!
Click here to see the short film documenting the natural beauty of the region as I have seen. A longer version of the film is coming soon.
Please have a look at my website www.avisekhphotography.com for all my recent works.
Have a nice weekend.
Hope you will enjoy the picture.
Any suggestions or criticisms are always welcome.
