Castel Sant'Angelo @ Rome, Italy

It was great fun capturing this image. We went close and low to the Tiber river and tried to look for some reflection. It was a very calm day. So the chance of having reflection was high. Finally with a bit of search we did manage to find a good composition. So we setup everything and started waiting for the right moment.
We got really lucky that the wind stays under control till the evening. At the same time the water level of the river was really low as there was no rain in Rome this summer. It was almost an emergency for water crisis and several fountains were closed including the famous fountain in the Vatican. You can see those rocks in the river. Something that is nor normal. As the water level was low; the reflection was easier to get as the river almost had no flow.
We finished capturing the blue hour and the wind picked up. In fact by the time we were ready to leave by packing our camera bag; the reflection was already gone! So we were lucky that we could capture the shot. Without the reflection it would have been nothing close to how it looks with it.
Please have a look at my website www.avisekhphotography.com for all my recent works.
Have a nice weekend.
Hope you will enjoy the picture.
Any suggestions or criticisms are always welcome.
