Yet another image from the evening with amazing light. The light stayed for almost 3 hours with the sky lit with the golden light. I have taken several images. As you can imagine; I was not the only one out there with cameras. There were several other photographers trying to capture similar frame. Iceland is truly a paradise for photographers. One will not get tired to go back to the same location again and again to search the best light!

But important is to be patient and stubborn. A nature photography trip is not a holiday or going out shooting the neighborhood with friends. The right light comes once in a while. Specially in Iceland where the weather is unpredictable and mostly dull. So be there to the same location again and again, following the weather, stay up almost whole night are few of the handles to capture the beautiful light. Being said that; when you succeed to get the right condition; it is a treat to watch and photograph.

I am happy to go there few more times. However; the ISK has increased in value sharply. There are huge numbers of tourists going to Iceland every year and the count has also increased dramatically. Means more demand than supply and that made things even more expensive. So I am not sure if it will be very affordable to go to Iceland anymore sooner. That makes me think twice before booking a flight to Reykjavik for the third time. I can probably visit another beautiful and unseen corner of the world with the same amount of money. Not sure how long I can resist myself though. :)

Please have a look at my website www.avisekhphotography.com for all my recent works.

Have a nice weekend.
