Alien star shield

an experimental 3D design and render I did back in 2002, found the .c4d file yesterday and re-rendered it. rendered with Maxon Cinema4D R14s internal renderer, with a low resolution HDR as an environment map along with a volumetric spot light for the rays. Nothing very fancy, it was fun when I did it.
