Sadly the F-22 Demo Office Door Is Locked...

Quoting verbatim from the USAF Facebook page:

"The time has come; I’ve officially locked the door to the Demo Office, hopefully not forever. Reflecting back over the last few years I get somewhat emotional. I’m filled with sadness as I walk away but yet I find myself with a smile on my face. I’m smiling because I’m thinking back to all the good times, the people that I’ve became friends with, the stories that we’ve shared and the adult beverages that we have partaken in over the last few years. I’m thinking of all the great times, that places I’ve been and how I will miss the family that I’ve became a part of...that is the sad part. However, I’m happy to have just been a part of this experience. I can honestly say this has been the best Job I have ever held….I was a member of the USAF F-22 Aerial Demonstration Team and the air show family that I traveled city to city with. This experience has been a huge honor, I will miss all of this….I will miss each of you! I now head back to the Operational Flight Line here at Langley AFB, assigned to the 94th Aircraft Maintenance Unit where I hope to stay until I retire. Just know if there is an air show close to my location, I’ll try to sneak into show center or the performer area for a visit. I’m sure it will not be as easy as strolling through security in my flight suit, but I’ll get in there somehow. Ha ha. Good luck and best wishes to all my friends and family, I hope our paths cross again soon. Take care. Bo – Raptor Demo"

Sad for America. We paid hundreds of millions for these quality combat aircraft, now many will be ignorant of our heroes' sacrifice.

I thank very much we have an Air Force, especially as my father works in downtown Seattle to hold corporate America to account. That could be bordering on impossible if another 9/11 were to hit America... and it is the Air National Guard that is the goalkeeper against another attack. For that, I'm eternally grateful.
