Diane the Mechanic: FHC's Diane Krivitsky working on the FHC Po-2

Figure I'd share once I found out who this whiz mechanic was. Really iconic picture, eh?

 

Especially considering the Soviet in their Great Patriotic War (aka World War II) sent women to fly over the Nazi camps at night in these biplanes and make sleep quite difficult. Sure worked.
