Sounder 2011-08-05 Ride Pic 09: Self-portrait and comfy Sounder seating
It's been a while since I've uploaded pics from my Sounder ride. Today felt like a good day to do so. Kinda envious since the views are great and the seats are comfortable.

This is a photo from my 5 August 2011 ride aboard the Everett-Seattle Sounder (Heavy) Commuter Rail. Sure was nice to transfer from the Skagit Transit/SKAT 90X Everett Connector to a train ride to downtown Seattle to start my Seafair travels. Sure also happy not to be stuck w/ the heavy subsidy to pay for the ride versus express buses that Sound Transit also provides, but hey... the double-decker train was there, fun and well worth the $4.50 fare.
