"Disappearance in the Devil's Box, Chicago, Monday, February 8, 2021"
Fiction: February, 1988. Seeing Janice, his ravishing young assistant, perform the Linking Rings trick in a musical form, Brad Byrd ("The Devil") immediately stops her and puts her in a trance. Then, the Devil ties Janice in a large sack, places her in a steamer trunk, locks it, and sets it ablaze, hoping that she won't come out of it alive. Seeing how nervous and terrified the audience is, the Devil extinguishes the fire, unlocks the trunk, and looks inside...an empty sack. Janice has vanished! Neither hide nor big hair of her.
