Lumholtz's Tree-kangaroo family

I saw this family group several times on a recent stay at friends' nature refuge in the Atherton Tablelands, far north east Australia. This shot was during the closest of those encounters.

 

Mother and her 2 joeys (young). The one on the right near the mother is the current season's joey, and on the left is the larger joey from the previous season. The joeys can stay with their mother for several years. Their status is classified as near threatened, and considered as rare.
